Terms and Conditions

Everything seen differently. Challenging situations call for creative responses.

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of business mentoring, consultancy, and creative communications services by Creative Insights (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you the client (“you,” “your”). Creative Insights is a sole trader business operated by Ansal Trafford, based in Essex, England.

By engaging our services, completing a booking form, or making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you have any questions before agreeing to these terms, please contact Ansal Trafford at inspire@creative-insights.co.uk before proceeding.

1.  OUR SERVICES

1.1 Business Mentoring, Consultancy, and Creative Communications

Creative Insights provides business mentoring, consultancy, and creative communications services to self-employed people and entrepreneurs who are navigating cancer, serious illness, life-changing injury, or caring responsibilities for a loved one.

Our primary service is a 90-minute video consultation delivered via Zoom or an equivalent video platform, through which we apply The Creative Response Framework to help clients identify what is working well in their business, what would benefit from change, and what is currently missing.

1.2  The Creative Response Framework TM

The Creative Response Framework is a proprietary three-step methodology developed and owned by Creative Insights. It is applied across all consultations and services we provide.

The three steps are Good to Keep, Good to Change, and Good to Include.

The Creative Response Framework is the intellectual property of Creative Insights. It may not be reproduced, taught, licensed, or applied commercially by any third party without the explicit written permission of Creative Insights.

1.3  Paid Consultations

Our standard 90-minute consultation is available at a fee of £150, payable in advance at the point of booking. Payment is processed securely via our online payment system.

1.4   Founding Consultations

During the founding consultation period, a limited number of consultations are available free of charge or at a reduced rate in exchange for participation as a case study. Specific terms governing founding consultations, including what participation as a case study involves, are set out in Section 8 of these Terms and Conditions.

1.5  Hardship Consultations

A small number of consultations are offered each month at no charge to self-employed people in genuine financial hardship. Hardship consultations are allocated at the sole discretion of Creative Insights following review of a completed hardship application form. Submission of a hardship application does not guarantee the offer of a free consultation. All applicants will receive a personal response within five working days of submitting their application.

1.6  Additional Services

Creative Insights also offers project-based creative communications services including copywriting, brand messaging, content strategy, and related creative work. Where such services are agreed, a separate written scope of work will be provided and must be accepted in writing before work commences. Additional terms governing project-based services are set out in Section 3 of these Terms and Conditions.

1.7  What Our Services Are Not

The services provided by Creative Insights are business mentoring and consultancy services. They do not constitute medical advice, clinical treatment, therapeutic counselling, or regulated financial advice. Nothing discussed during a consultation should be understood as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial guidance.

We will always signpost clients to appropriate professional support where this appears relevant.

2.   BOOKING AND PAYMENT

2.1  Booking Process

Consultations are booked via our online booking system at creative-insights.co.uk. By completing and submitting a booking form, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2.2   Payment for Paid Consultations

Full payment of £150 is required at the point of booking to secure your chosen date and time. Payment is processed securely online. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

2.3   Currency

All fees charged by Creative Insights are quoted and invoiced in GBP (Pounds Sterling). Clients based outside the United Kingdom are responsible for any currency conversion costs or bank charges incurred.

2.4    Invoices

Where an invoice is required, this will be issued by Creative Insights promptly following payment or, for project-based work, in accordance with the agreed payment schedule set out in the scope of work. Invoices issued by Creative Insights are payable within seven days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.5   Late Payments

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, late payment of invoices may incur a late payment fee of 10% of the outstanding amount per month, accruing daily from the invoice due date until the outstanding amount is settled in full. Creative Insights reserves the right to require advance payment for future services following two or more late payments.

2.6   VAT

Creative Insights is not currently VAT registered. Should our VAT status change, we will notify clients and update these Terms and Conditions accordingly.

3.   PROJECT-BASED SERVICES

3.1  Scope of Work

Where Creative Insights agrees to provide project-based creative communications services, a written scope of work will be prepared and provided to you. The scope of work will set out the agreed deliverables, estimated timelines, and associated costs. Work will not commence until the scope of work has been accepted by you in writing.

3.2   Payment for Project-Based Services

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before project work commences. The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the agreed work and prior to final delivery of project outputs.

3.3   Revisions

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Creative Insights offers up to two rounds of revisions per project, provided they fall within the original agreed scope of work. Additional revisions beyond this are chargeable at our standard hourly rate, which will be confirmed with you in writing at the time of engagement.

3.4    Trusted Creative Partners

Where the scope of work requires specialist expertise beyond our in-house capability, Creative Insights may engage one or more trusted creative partners. Any associated costs will be confirmed with you in advance and in writing. Where required, non-disclosure agreements can be put in place before work commences. Fees for work carried out by trusted creative partners are non-refundable once work has commenced.

3.5   Client Responsibilities

To ensure the smooth delivery of agreed services, you agree to provide all necessary information, materials, and guidance in a timely manner. Delays in providing required information may impact agreed timelines and completion dates. Creative Insights will confirm any resulting adjustments to timelines in writing.

3.6   Deadlines and Delivery

Creative Insights will make every reasonable effort to meet agreed completion dates. Where adjustments to timelines become necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you in writing and provide revised timelines as promptly as possible. Late delivery does not entitle you to cancellation or a refund of fees paid unless otherwise agreed in exceptional circumstances and confirmed in writing.

4.    CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

4.1   Consultations — Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked consultation, please contact us as soon as possible at inspire@creative-insights.co.uk.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled consultation will be offered the option to reschedule at no additional charge. A discretionary partial refund may be offered at the sole discretion of Creative Insights.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled consultation time are not eligible for a refund. Creative Insights may, at its sole discretion, offer a credit towards a future booking.

4.2    Consultations — Cancellation by Creative Insights

In the unlikely event that Creative Insights needs to cancel a confirmed consultation, we will notify you as promptly as possible and offer either a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.

4.3    Hardship and Founding Consultations

Where a consultation has been offered free of charge or at a reduced rate, cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled time may affect your eligibility for a further complimentary or reduced-rate booking.

4.4    Project-Based Work — Cancellation by You

If you choose to cancel project-based work after it has commenced, no refund will be issued for work already completed or for the initial deposit paid. Creative Insights may, at its discretion, offer a credit note redeemable against future services.

4.5    Cancellation by Creative Insights

If Creative Insights is unable to complete agreed project-based work due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a refund of fees paid for work not yet commenced, less any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred.

5.   INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COPYRIGHT

5.1  The Creative Response Framework

The Creative Response Framework, including its name, its three-step methodology, and all associated materials, is the exclusive intellectual property of Creative Insights. All rights are reserved.

5.2   Content and Creative Work Produced for Clients

Upon receipt of full payment for agreed project-based work, you will receive a nonexclusive, royalty-free licence to use the written content and creative work produced by Creative Insights for the agreed and intended purpose only.

Creative Insights retains the moral right to be identified as the author of all written and creative work we produce. This right is not transferred upon payment.

You agree not to resell, redistribute, claim authorship of, or repurpose any written content or creative work produced by Creative Insights without our explicit written permission.

5.3   Post-Consultation Summaries

The personalised post-consultation summary produced by Creative Insights following your

90-minute consultation is for your personal and business use only. It may not be reproduced, shared publicly, or distributed without the written permission of Creative Insights, except for your own private reference and use.

5.4    Client-Provided Materials

You confirm that any materials, content, images, or information you provide to Creative Insights for use in the delivery of agreed services are either owned by you or that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide them. You agree to indemnify Creative Insights against any claims arising from the use of materials provided by you.

6.   DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

6.1  How We Handle Your Data

Creative Insights is committed to protecting your personal data and handling it responsibly and lawfully. Full details of how we collect, store, use, and protect your personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, available at creative-insights.co.uk/privacy.

6.2   Special Category Data

The nature of our services means that you may share health-related information with us through our booking forms or during your consultation. Health information is classified as special category data under UK GDPR and is subject to additional protections.

By completing our booking form and ticking the relevant consent box, you give your explicit consent for Creative Insights to store and use any health-related information you choose to share, solely for the purposes of preparing for and delivering your consultation and generating your post-consultation summary.

You are never required to share more health-related information than you feel comfortable sharing.

6.3   AI-Assisted Post-Consultation Summaries

Following your consultation, a personalised summary is generated using the information you provided in your booking form and structured notes from your conversation. This summary is prepared using secure AI tools and is reviewed by Ansal Trafford before being sent to you.

Your information is processed for this purpose only. It is never shared with third parties. By ticking the relevant consent box on your booking form, you confirm your agreement to this process.

If you would prefer your summary to be prepared without AI tools, please indicate this on your booking form. Please note that summaries prepared without AI assistance may take longer to produce.

6.4    International Clients

If you are based outside the United Kingdom, please be aware that by submitting a booking form and using our services, your personal data may be transferred to and processed within the United Kingdom. We handle all data in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.

6.5   Zoom and Third-Party Platforms

Consultations are delivered via Zoom or an equivalent video platform. Please be aware that Zoom’s own privacy policy and terms of service govern the processing of any data collected by Zoom during your call. We recommend familiarising yourself with Zoom’s privacy policy before your consultation.

7.  CONFIDENTIALITY

7.1 Our Obligations to You

Creative Insights will treat all information you share with us as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your personal information, business information, or health information to any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

This obligation extends to any trusted creative partners we engage to deliver services on your behalf.

7.2  Your Obligations to Us

You agree to keep confidential all pricing information, methodologies, working processes, and contractual arrangements relating to your engagement with Creative Insights. This obligation continues after the conclusion of any services provided.

8.   CASE STUDIES AND TESTIMONIALS

8.1  Founding Consultations

Where a consultation is offered free of charge or at a reduced rate as part of our founding consultation programme, participation as a case study forms part of the arrangement. By accepting a founding consultation, you agree in principle to share your experience of working with Creative Insights.

8.2    What Participation Involves

Participation as a case study may involve providing a written or verbal account of your experience, answering a small number of follow-up questions, and giving permission for your experience to be shared on our website or in our marketing communications.

8.3    Attribution Options

You may choose to be named and attributed, or to have your experience shared anonymously. Your preference will be captured on your booking form and honoured without exception. You may change your preference at any time by contacting inspire@creativeinsights.co.uk.

8.4    No Obligation to Publish

Creative Insights will never publish a testimonial, case study, or account of your experience without first obtaining your explicit written consent. Consent given on the booking form constitutes agreement in principle only. We will always seek your final approval before publishing.

8.5    Standard Consultations

Clients who have paid the standard consultation fee are under no obligation to participate as a case study. Where you are willing to share your experience, we will be grateful and will always seek your explicit consent before publishing anything.

9.   SAFEGUARDING AND WELLBEING

9.1  Our Commitment

Creative Insights is committed to the safety and wellbeing of every person we work with. We recognise that our clients may be in vulnerable circumstances and we take this responsibility seriously.

9.2   Signposting

Where it appears relevant during a consultation, we will always offer to signpost you to appropriate professional support, including medical, psychological, financial, or legal services. This is offered in addition to, not as a substitute for, the business mentoring and consultancy services we provide.

9.3   Serious Concerns

In the rare and exceptional event that information shared during a consultation gives us serious cause for concern about your immediate safety or the safety of others, Creative Insights reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include signposting you to emergency services or other relevant agencies. We will always aim to discuss this with you directly in the first instance.
